在上一集J重新召回K作为搭档之后，时间又过去了许多年，但是外星人对地球的觊觎却一直没有停歇。而且J还了解到了K已经死了四十多年。无论未来如何发展，K都和外星人入侵地球有着千丝万缕的联系。而且这段时间，J了解到是一个叫做鲍里斯的外星罪犯在1969年干掉了当时还没有太多经验的K。而在四十多年后，这个鲍里斯就成为了地球最大的威胁。而为了阻止鲍里斯的计划，J只有穿越回1969年，去拯救年轻版的K。刻不容缓，时不我待。J的穿越时间只有24小时，否则他将被永远困在1969年。他能顺利完成计划，解救出1969年的K并挽救地球么？看来这两个好搭档又要和前两集一样，重新开始认识对方并在地球上经历一场难忘的“追凶之旅”了。。Isn’t the trajectory of a shared life determined in advance? These lives help him to re-evaluate his priorities and values but in order to get home he must face some of his deepest desires and fears.
