本片讲述了搬山道人朱却一行人，受军阀大帅邵青山威胁，一同前往落天荒古墓一探究竟。墓中长廊壁画上的飞天女神，实则为迷骨香，扰乱心智，危难之际幸遇搬山门嫡系弟子诸葛玄，才得以击败怪物，朱却与诸葛玄因此契机相认。不料通往墓室的路上惊险重重，朱却等人频频败退濒近死亡…… 这是一场善与恶的较量，一次道义与背叛的抉择。。上世纪二十年代初，在靠近前苏联边界的三不管地区，有一个叫蒙塔的流浪枪手，来到了小镇乐土驿，发现有两伙匪徒在这里对峙，匪徒们赶走了乐土驿的百姓，似乎在这里是为了争夺什么。蒙塔周旋于两个匪帮之间，终于搞清了其中的秘密，最终消灭了匪帮，夺回了国宝。。'In Vitro' is an otherworldly rumination on memory, history, place and identity.
