A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。每一个都市都有其特别的传说，而传说的背后似真似假，却无形中和一些案件相关联。警视厅搜查一课丹内市生（竹中直人 饰）曾经是个热血的警察，但随着年事的增长，愈发老派，不能接受新的探案模式；与之相反的他的下属，音无月子（长泽雅美 饰）则是个不按常理出牌，穿着花哨，喜欢把各类案件和都市传说扯在一起的警察；支持月子这种探案风格的有鉴识课的胜浦洋人（沟端淳平 饰），对月子一见钟情的洋人利用他的专业知识，为月子提供了不少帮助。 月子幼时经历过的神秘事件让月子对这类传说十分感兴趣，这是支撑她成为警察的动力。于是一出出案件伴随着都市传说揭开它神秘的面纱。。
