设计师魅可（安以轩饰）不顾合伙人反对，向媒体坦诚自己的孤儿身份，希望以诚示人之外，也一直没有放弃寻找生身父母的愿望。魅可在孤儿院帮助下找到被拆迁的老宅，因此结识在工地打工的忠哥（汪东城饰），在忠哥引领下，魅可拜访守候着可能是自己家遗物的哑口婆婆，却未得到自己出身的线索，然而怪事很快接连而至：她的父母很可能来自盗墓家族，工队队长可能不怀好意，而那位婆婆又似乎早已死去……谜底渐渐揭开，原来忠哥亦是一名出身盗墓世家的孤儿，他为了寻找自己父母的线索，试图在魅可家的遗物中找到一本《盗墓秘术》，为了达成目的，他不惜运用父母留下的工具和迷药来制造绑架事件，他坚信自己并非恶人，但行动却渐渐失控……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. He has decided to leave, but a snow avalanche is crushed in the mountains, making it impossible for him to leave. Soon, inspector has found a body of a dead lodger. Everyone who lives in the hotel is under suspicion... (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
