In the meantime, Marilyn, her late mentor, appears to her and introduces her to Pat, the Ghost...。位于北海道的大虾夷农业高等学校（通称：虾夷农高）是一所寄宿制农业高中，学生多是以从事农业作为目标的农家子弟。新学年伊始，虾夷农高迎来了一位与众不同的学生——八轩勇吾（木村良平 配音），他从城市来到乡下，通过正常的入学考试考入农高，现就读于乳畜系一年级。他身边的同学都有着继承家业、成为兽医之类的理想，他却找不到明确的人生目标，这让他感到焦躁不安。本以为自己成绩优异，可以在考试中拔得头筹，他却发现农高的课程与普通的升学高中大大不同。此外，农高的社团均是体育系，在御影秋（三宅麻理惠 配音）的鼓励下，文弱的八轩选择了马术部。 在这所拥有全日本高校最大占地面积、被壮丽的自然风光和乡村风情环抱的虾夷农高里，八轩的青春生活开始了！ 本动画改编自荒川弘的同名人气漫画。。
