工藤の長編3作目「遠いところ」は、沖縄の若年層の実態を描いた物語。沖縄の子供の困窮した状況、DV、シングルマザーの様子を追ったルポルタージュに工藤が自身の生い立ちを重ね合わせたことから企画が生まれ、独自に取材を重ね全編沖縄で撮影した。。When Pedro and the girl go rob the flat and find the entire family of three there, and lock them in the bathroom, the kid had a phone using which the dad calls the police. After he has called the police, he should have hidden the phone because robbers can come back anytime and might hurt them on seeing the phone, but the dad stupidly keeps on playing with the phone and Pedro do...。
