20多岁的Na-young（全度妍 饰）生活工作都十分稳定，但她与母亲的关系不太好，两母女无法亲近。可是父亲的突然离去让他们的家失去了平静。她离开了母亲，到了父亲曾经生活过的小岛，在这个美丽的小岛上，她竟然遇到了一个与自己样子一模一样的少女Yeon-soon。Yeon-soon的快乐与Na-young的失落成为了鲜明的对比。相处下来，Na-young发现了Yeon-soon的真实身份，令她惊讶不已。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
