慕清雪身为金牌股票分析师在六年前结婚后，全心全意帮丈夫郝建，因工作和生活的操劳而遭到丈夫嫌弃。六年后，当初资助的贫困生成为丈夫秘书后趁机而入。慕清雪彻底看清丈夫的真面目后，果断离婚，凭借自身能力重现昔日风光。Dr. Braun is forbidden to practice medicine because he's a Jew living in Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia.
