《印度罗曼史》是一部题材新颖的浪漫喜剧，讨论爱情、诱惑与承诺三者之间惊心动魄的雷区。影片背景设置在印度中心地带，展现当代年轻人的爱情观。《断綫人生》“板球仔”苏斯汉特·辛格·拉杰普特饰演随性的邻家男孩Raghu，帕瑞妮缇·乔普拉饰演他那性格大胆火爆的恋人Gayatri。 雅什·乔普拉虽已与世长辞，但他的继承者还在继续他的事业。作爲雅什的长子，阿迪提亚· 乔普拉通过该片，完成了其父的遗愿。雅什离世前最大的心愿就是能在斋普尔着名的拉吉迪尔剧院取景拍摄，而这座艺术风格装饰剧院的拥有者最终爲阿迪提亚敞开了大门。 《印度罗曼史》全程拍摄自这座“粉红之城”，但拉吉迪尔剧院有严格的规定，明令禁止任何人在其附近拍摄。早先剧组向剧院提出申请，表示想在此拍摄一组浪漫镜头时，就吃了闭门羹。之后阿迪提亚亲自与所属方交涉，当提到这是其父雅什的遗愿后，剧院爲这个剧组开了先河。...。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
