李勇是李家庄一名村医，医术高超，却没有行医资格证，他给村民打欠条治病，村民欠了他很多钱，因此李勇的老婆也跟他离婚，他为了争夺孩子抚养权，去找村民要村民还钱，可是村民不仅不还钱，举报了李勇，李勇被判非法行医，判决20年有期徒刑。。The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。
