A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli). Soon more murders occur involving the other guests at the resort.。横见浩彦自幼已爱火车成痴的他，足迹踏遍了全日本所有九千八百多个火车站，甚至为此未能赶及见老父临终前的最后一面。因为横见对火车的迷恋，使他最终成为了漫画主角。连他自己也声称：“我已把人生抛到了铁道上！”这样的铁道宅男比起只埋首电脑、深居简出的 “御宅族”，显然来得身体力行得多。 故事就是从两位主人公菊池直惠和横见浩彦的视角出发，由他们的旅途中所遇到的点点滴滴为故事背景，两人在成长的同时，不停的传达给观众各种各样关于铁路的知识。。
