Amazon is the story of two medicine men from vastly different worlds sharing a common quest: the search for the medicinal qualities of native plants.。《林中女妖》取材自北欧神话人物“HULDRA”。在挪威民间故事中，HULDRA是一个居住在从林深处的仙女，她咏唱出美妙的歌曲，勾引那些到森林砍柴打猎的壮士流连忘返。这些人眷恋HULDRA的美貌，却也被她如牛鞭的尾巴吓倒，妄想逃脱，却被HULDRA永世囚禁在丛林中陪伴她左右……。初夏的早晨，江南田野，一个天真活泼的牧童骑着水牛去放牛。牧童做了一个梦，牛忽然失踪了。原来牛被飞流千尺的瀑布所吸引。牧童唤牛，牛不动。牧童从风竹发出的声响有所领悟，削竹为笛，吹奏出悠扬悦耳的乐曲。水牛被笛声吸引回牧童身边。牧童骑上牛背，踏着暮色的田埂，悠然归去。。
