Barbara Hershey is great...。在济南一角，有一个年画世家，他家有一个儿子叫做蒲松龄（马浚伟 饰），自幼天资聪颖的他对于书画、故事都极其擅长，蒲父对他的寄望颇大。但误解蒲父的蒲松龄不愿受到父亲的摆布，希望做自己真正想做之事。和镇上的捕快高喆（陈锦鸿 饰）结成好友的他，因此知道了镇上不少离奇古怪之事，开阔了他的眼界。 某一次，蒲松龄和高喆在追中一起案件时，差点遭到歹徒的毒手，幸而被一名女子小翠（陈法拉 饰）相救。原来小翠竟是来报恩的狐仙，她对颇有才情的蒲松龄一见钟情。而另一边，蒲松龄又邂逅了在自家画坊工作的女工柳心如（钟嘉欣 饰），而心如来到蒲家原来是有目的的……一出出人鬼狐仙的故事就此上演。。
